On October 25, 2024, an international scientific symposium was held at the National Center for Nuclear Research entitled: "50th anniversary of the MARIA reactor".

From November 18 to 25, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland hosts an exhibition entitled "50 years of the MARIA reactor" - a Polish research nuclear reactor. One of the first visitors was the Speaker of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia.
